Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will face his former club Barcelona after the two teams were drawn together in the group stage of this season’s Champions League. The two teams will meet in Group C of Europe’s premier club football tournament, alongside Bundesliga outfit VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach and Scottish champions Celtic.
Guardiola is considered Barca’s most successful manager, having guided the team to 14 trophies between 2008 and 2012 – including two Champions League triumphs
Premier League champions Leicester will play Porto, Club Brugge and FC Copenhagen in their debut campaign.
Arsenal have been drawn alongside Paris St-Germain, Basel and Ludogorets, with Tottenham facing Monaco, CSKA Moscow and Bayer Leverkusen.
Tottenham have tough clashes against Bayer Leverkusen, CSKA Moscow, and Monaco in Group E, while Bayern and Atletico Madrid will probably fight for top spot in Group D.
